Senior Tax Accountant POST NUMBER: 415226
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, corporate and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Calculation and preparation of personal and business estimated Federal and State tax payments.
- Developing tax and financial strategies and implementing them accordingly.
- Communicate with clients and staff to ensure timely deliverable reviews of financial statements with a focus on tax law compliance and profit maximization.
- A strong commitment to professional education and remaining current with the business environment and tax law changes.
- Assist/supervise junior staff as necessary.
- Interpret, investigate, prepare and respond to correspondence from the IRS and other Taxing Agencies.
Qualifications:
- Professional licensure required - either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the preparation and review of Federal and State tax returns.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
- Software knowledge - Tax Software; Microsoft Suite of Products; QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
- Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering results to achieve client satisfaction.
