Job Title: Internal Auditor/Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Auditor/Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and accounting, preferably with experience in a Big 4 firm or as an internal auditor at a publicly traded company. This role requires a deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance, as well as a commitment to excellence and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough audits and reviews of financial statements and internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal audit policies and procedures.
• Utilize data analytics software (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) to analyze financial data and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing and accounting.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of auditing/accounting experience (auditing preferred).
• Preferred experience in a Big 4 firm auditing public companies with a focus on SOX compliance.
• Alternatively, experience as an internal auditor/accountant at a publicly traded company dealing with internal controls.
• CPA, CA, or CIA certification, or actively working toward certification.
• BS/MS degree in Accounting, with coursework in auditing.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics software (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
