Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage their comprehensive benefits program, Workers Compensation and the like, along with Staff Management. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, execution, and strategic oversight of all employee benefits programs. This includes but is not limited to compensation, health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage all aspects of employee benefits programs, including group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plans, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, HSAs, etc.
  • Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of the benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on all benefits-related matters, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
  • Design and implement benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective, while meeting the needs of employees.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to negotiate and manage benefits contracts and services.
  • Educate and communicate benefits information to employees, ensuring understanding and appreciation of available programs.
  • Manage benefits enrollment processes, including new hire orientation, annual open enrollment, and qualifying life events.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related transactions, such as enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA. Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in benefits administration, recommending adjustments to the benefits strategy as needed.
  • Partner with HR leadership and other departments to support overall HR initiatives and organizational goals.
