Transfer Pricing Manager
We are partnering with a manufacturing company in search of a Transfer Pricing Manager to join their team. This individual will utilize their public accounting experience to develop, implement, and manage transfer pricing strategies and policies in accordance with domestic and international regulations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance and optimizing tax efficiencies while supporting the company’s overall business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and upkeep of comprehensive transfer pricing documentation, including master files, local files, and Country-by-Country Reporting, and oversee external service providers and budgets for these efforts.
  • Develop and manage a strategy for local Country-by-Country Reporting by working with local finance and tax teams, creating compliance tools, and evaluating the service model.
  • Create and implement global transfer pricing policies to reduce risk, follow best practices, and meet local reporting requirements.
  • Monitor changes in transfer pricing laws and communicate with stakeholders to address impacts on tax returns.
  • Track quarterly updates on Pillar 2 legislation and work with tax leadership to ensure these changes are reflected in financial statements.
  • Develop strategies to ensure the organization is ready for Pillar 2 data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Help with global filing obligations related to Pillar 2.
  • Create tools to forecast annual and quarterly pre-tax income, including transfer pricing impacts.
  • Review and update intercompany agreements to ensure they meet transfer pricing policies.
  • Assist with transfer pricing audits and develop strategies to handle disputes.
  • Work with different teams on transfer pricing projects and support various business transactions.
  • Collaborate with tax and finance teams to integrate transfer pricing insights into broader financial strategies.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in transfer pricing or a related field is required, preferably within a publicly traded company.
  • CPA or Juris Doctor is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of transfer pricing regulations, economic and financial analysis, and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools, and experience with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing documentation and conducting analyses.
