Our client, based in Nashville, TN. Is looking for a direct hire, Human Resource Business Partner to join their team.
The ideal candidate must have experience in healthcare, ideally behavioral health, with at least 5 years of strong employee relations experience.
The HR business partner is a critical position for their company success and is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units

Duties:
  • Implement workforce strategies and diagnoses and solve workforce issues. Will partner with managers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency through labor and efficiency initiatives.
  • Measure employee satisfaction and implement efforts to improve the employee experience.
  • Advise and counsel on situational issues, performance, and discipline.
  • Deploy development programs, performance management, appraisal and coaching/feedback guidance.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee activity groups.
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manag and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. May at times participate in the development of training content or materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or SPHR strongly preferred.
  • Experience in HRIS systems, ideally UGK or Workday
