Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect end-to-end IT solutions that meet business and technical requirements, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to understand and define project requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure optimal performance and security of the IT environment.
  • Ensure that solutions are aligned with industry regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including blueprints, roadmaps, and technical specifications.
  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based and on-premise solutions, including integration with existing systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for IT projects.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the IT landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on-premise systems.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and data security requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
