Epic Implementation Project Director POST NUMBER: 415287

• Lead the overall Epic implementation strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives.
• Develop and communicate the project vision, goals, and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Epic Systems representatives and internal executive leadership.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon parameters.
• Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Assemble and lead a multidisciplinary project team, including IT professionals, clinical staff, and external consultants.
• Provide direction, support, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address issues, and ensure cohesive progress.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders, including executives, clinicians, administrative staff, and IT personnel.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, presentations, and status updates to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise during the implementation process.
• Ensure the implementation process meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to monitor and evaluate the project’s performance and outcomes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare IT implementations.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale Epic EHR implementations.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
• In-depth knowledge of Epic systems and healthcare IT best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
• Epic certification(s) in relevant modules highly desirable.
