A large billion-dollar company is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for scaling their new entity, managing a team, setting up accounting infrastructure, and developing internal controls. What do you need for this Senior Accounting Manager role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 8-12 years of public and private accounting experience
• Must have public accounting experience
• Active or somewhat close to having an active CPA
• Experience in managing teams of people
• Experience working in high growth companies
• Advanced Excel

• Prepare and review financial statements
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP
• Create and maintain internal controls that comply with company and regulatory policies
• Oversee staff
• Be a strategic partner to the business
• Analyze contracts and investments
• Analyze and eliminate financial risks
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives
• Support onboarding new entities
• Assist with treasury accounting
