Position Purpose:
- Responsible for developing, leading, deploying and implementing business improvement projects within for Anti-Money Laundering. This includes ensuring improvement goals are met, tools and methods are used appropriately, and a continuous improvement culture and results are sustained. Identify, formulate, validate, document, and communicate existing and future business and operational processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and support all assigned projects (small and medium) through all phases including idea creation, business requirements definition, scoping, planning, testing, training, implementation and continuous improvement.
- Identify related project dependencies ensuring processes are designed and implemented in a consistent way across both functional and non-functional requirements that are included across projects; liaises with key stakeholders to promote integration amongst all related projects.
- Review project documents and provide feedback in line with project goals and strategic AML vision.
- Conduct Idea Creation analysis and investigation as necessary
- Document and communicate identified gaps to various levels of stakeholders
- Define and manage key performance indicators as they relate to identified gaps and opportunities
- Oversee the development and planning of projects identify anticipated benefits, quantify targeted results, and establish measurement criteria and prioritization of initiatives
- Manage and oversee project delivery including: tracking financial and project goals, identifying and resolving project risks/issues and managing resources deployed against projects
Knowledge & Experience: Must-have
- 5-9 years related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business operations, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent education and/or relative industry experience
- End user training and change management experience on medium to large projects
- Experience in Canadian or International Financial Services in a senior role
Nice-to-have'
- Project Management certifications are a plus; has demonstrated the ability to lead small to medium teams of analysts to successful implementation
- Lean Six Sigma and Project Management Technical Knowledge – understand key concepts and processes (preferably Green Belt trained/certified)
- Ability to think analytically and deal with ambiguity
- High level of achievement motivation and information seeking
- Intermediate knowledge of Reporting design and development (Business Intelligence)
- ??????Basic knowledge of AML Compliance
