Job Title: Leasing Transaction Coordinator
Location: Orange County, CA

About the Opportunity:
Vaco is recruiting for our esteemed commercial real estate client, a mid-sized investment and ownership group with a diverse portfolio that includes office, retail, industrial properties, and substantial land holdings. They are seeking a skilled Leasing Transaction Coordinator to support the Leasing Director in facilitating and managing leasing transactions across their robust portfolio. This role is ideal for a proactive professional passionate about the transactional side of commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brokerage Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party brokers, ensuring effective communication and smooth listing processes.
  • Marketing Oversight: Coordinate marketing efforts for property vacancies, ensuring each listing is presented to a high standard.
  • LOI Drafting & Negotiation: Assist in preparing and negotiating Letters of Intent, aiming for clear, advantageous terms for all parties.
  • Tenant Relations: Serve as a key contact for tenants, providing professional and timely responses to support positive leasing experiences.
  • Lease Documentation: Collaborate with in-house resources and external legal counsel to assist in lease preparation and finalization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in commercial real estate, specifically in leasing and transaction coordination.
  • License: Interest in or progress toward a Real Estate License is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Argus, Outlook, and strong writing skills for documentation and communication.
  • Core Strengths: Exceptional organizational abilities, strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
  • Mindset: A self-starter who thrives on the transactional side of real estate and enjoys the nuances of deal-making.
