The Controller position will manage a small accounting team, report to the CFO, and work closely with the executive leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial projections, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, manage financial forecasting, and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tax regulations, and changes in accounting standards.
- Responsible for bi-weekly payroll and implementation and management of various benefit programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an accounting manager or controller, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
- 7 years of experience with preference given to those with a manufacturing background and/or cost accounting expertise.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
