Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist POST NUMBER: 432744
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to join our finance team and play a vital role in managing our day-to-day financial operations.
Position Summary:
The AP/AR Specialist will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing payments, invoicing clients, and ensuring accurate and timely accounts receivable collections. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, creative industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies
- Perform 3-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Handle vendor setups, W-9s, and maintain accurate vendor records
- Reconcile credit card and vendor accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved promptly
- Assist with month-end AP accruals and reporting
Accounts Receivable (AR):
General Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- 3 years of AP/AR experience, preferably in the entertainment, television, or media industry
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions
- Professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
