Accounting Specialist POST NUMBER: 434150

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable (AR):

   • Prepare and send client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
   • Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up with clients for payment.
   • Apply payments to client accounts and maintain accurate records.

2. Accounts Payable (AP):

   • Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
   • Ensure timely payment of bills and proper coding to accounts.
   • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

3. General Ledger Maintenance:

   • Record daily transactions, journal entries, and adjustments.
   • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records.
   • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data in the general ledger.

4. Month-End Close:

   • Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals and prepaids.
   • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure financial reports are accurate.
   • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
