• Month-End Close: Assist in the timely and accurate completion of month-end closing activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper accounting treatment in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by reviewing and posting entries, ensuring they align with company policies and accounting guidelines.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable Support: Provide support in managing and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, assisting with variance analysis and identifying discrepancies.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that financial records and reports comply with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Ad-hoc Accounting Support: Assist with special projects, audits, and other ad-hoc accounting functions as needed.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting best practices.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with month-end close in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis.
• CPA track or in progress is a plus, but not required.
