Plano, TX – Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)
Compensation Range: $90-115K
One of Vaco’s PE-backed, highly-acquisitive midmarket clients is looking to onboard a Senior Accountant due to continued growth of the company. The CFO is someone that we have worked extensively with - he gives his people a ton of autonomy to get things done and make decisions without micromanagement. They are looking for candidates that have prior experience partnering with private equity groups (fast-paced, high-volume acquisitions, dynamics operations, etc.)
**Netsuite experience is required**
Day-to-day
- Perform daily financial accounting tasks, including accounts payable, revenue transactions, and general ledger maintenance.
- Regularly monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in monthly account reconciliations and prepare related financial reports as needed.
- Manage intercompany balances, payments, and reconciliations across entities.
- Collect and organize data to support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements or reports.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or address inquiries related to invoices and payments.
- Assist in ADP payroll processes, including journal entries, benefits accruals, and invoice payments.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure efficient and accurate accounting processes and compliance.
- Handle periodic correspondence with customers, rental platforms, and third parties regarding revenues or miscellaneous accounting inquiries.
- Provide support for treasury functions, including corporate card programs via Ramp and personal credit cards.
- Develop and document best practices for accounting processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
Looking for:
- Bachelors in Accounting or relevant field, CPA or CPA in-process nice-to-have
- Exposure to midmarket private equity or family office operations
