We are looking for someone how has some level of experience and understanding of:
- GAAP in a manufacturing industry environment
- Leading a team and developing a schedule and checklist for month end close
- What it takes to effectively to training, coach, mentor, and communicate with direct reports
- Monitoring actual variance compared to budget and finding root cause
- Explaining root cause and creating plans to correct it
- Cost reduction methodologies as they relate to price, usage, and inventory
- Financial reporting for both automated and ad hoc projects
- How to assist with internal and external audits
- Contract review and incorporation with revenue recognition activities
- Price review, adjustments, and ongoing analysis of all pricing related activities
- KPI and metric creating, implementation, and monitoring initiatives
- Creating, implementing, and adjusting accounting processes and procedures
- ERP or large accounting system software
- Monitoring cash accounts and funding levels
- Ensuring bank compliance and loan covenant requirements
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting related activities
- Collaborating with other department leaders and stakeholders
- Supporting inventory accounting and cost accounting activities
- Assisting with tax compliance initiatives

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
