We are looking for a Client Relations Specialist – Collections to join our client’s team in Montreal. This role is not just about collecting payments—it’s about building and maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring financial commitments are met. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English & French), skilled and composed in phone communications, diplomatic, and solution-oriented. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, professional interactions with clients while managing B2B collections in a respectful and strategic manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage B2B collections while maintaining strong and positive client relationships.
- Engage with clients professionally and tactfully MOSTLY via phone and by emails to follow up on outstanding balances.
- Find solutions by negotiating payment arrangements in a way that preserves client trust and satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and client interactions.
- Analyze overdue accounts and provide recommendations for improving the collections process while ensuring an excellent client experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field, preferably in professional services.
- Experience in B2B collections is a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills – confident on the phone, persuasive but always professional and respectful.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/collections software.
- Bilingual (English & French)

Nous recherchons un(e) Spécialiste des relations clients – Recouvrements pour rejoindre l’équipe de notre client à Montréal. Ce rôle ne se limite pas à collecter des paiements : il s'agit de bâtir et de maintenir des relations clients positives tout en garantissant le respect des engagements financiers. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) est bilingue (anglais et français), habile et calme dans ses communications téléphoniques, diplomatique et orienté(e) vers la solution. Vous jouerez un rôle clé en assurant des interactions professionnelles fluides avec les clients tout en gérant les recouvrements B2B de manière respectueuse et stratégique.
Responsabilités principals
- Gérer les recouvrements B2B tout en maintenant des relations clients solides et positives.
- Communiquer avec les clients de manière professionnelle et diplomatique, principalement par téléphone et par courriel, pour effectuer des suivis sur les soldes impayés.
- Trouver des solutions en négociant des arrangements de paiement tout en préservant la confiance et la satisfaction des clients.
- Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes internes pour résoudre efficacement les questions de facturation et les divergences.
- Maintenir des dossiers détaillés des efforts de recouvrement et des interactions avec les clients.
- Analyser les comptes en retard et fournir des recommandations pour améliorer le processus de recouvrement tout en garantissant une excellente expérience client.
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en recouvrements, comptes recevables ou un domaine connexe, de préférence dans des services professionnels.
- Une expérience en recouvrement B2B est un atout important.
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et en gestion des relations – confiant(e) au téléphone, persuasif(ve), mais toujours professionnel(le) et respectueux(se).
- Solides capacités de résolution de problèmes et approche axée sur le client.
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et des logiciels de comptabilité/recouvrement.
- Bilingue (anglais et français).
