Senior Satellite Systems Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Satellite Systems team in Montreal. With a legacy of over 60 years in satellite technology, our team has contributed to hundreds of successful missions. Now, we’re growing—and we want you to be part of our next big leap.

Your Role

As a Satellite Command & Data Handling (C&DH) System Engineer, you will:

• Define, analyze, and document requirements, system budgets, and design specifications.
• Oversee verification and validation of the C&DH sub-system.
• Monitor suppliers and collaborate with integrated product teams.
• Support satellite assembly, integration, and testing (AIT), including test supervision and data analysis.
• Contribute to major program reviews (EQSR, SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Participate in on-ground and in-orbit testing (IOT).
• Write subsystem operations manuals and support spacecraft operations.

What You Bring

• 15 years of experience in satellite systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Expertise in LEO/MEO satellite design and testing.
• Knowledge of CCSDS, Internet Protocol, 1553, SpaceWire, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of aerospace systems, orbit mechanics, and space environments.
• Experience in qualification and acceptance testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on system integration experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus).
