Company is on the cusp of growing and have a big market share in the entertainment world and content production. Everybody in the team is over 5 years and above in terms of tenure. Supporting around 1500 with people in the UK, Toronto, New York and LA.

The client’s IT Department is looking for Sr. Systems Engineer – Data Storage and Protection to join the team. This role is critical in the Infrastructure & Operations team, ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of enterprise data. This is a global role based in Toronto, Ontario with responsibility for data storage and protection across all Lionsgate sites. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of data storage and protection solutions across on-premises/virtual and cloud environments. This role requires a strong understanding of various storage technologies, backup methodologies, and data governance principles. The ability to collaborate effectively with other I&O teams, application support teams, and database administrators is essential.

About You

• Min 10 years of total hands on experience with Storage Administration – install/configure/ and manager Dell Storage Powerstore, Isilon and unity)

• Hands on experience with FCAL Fabric using CLI, WWN zoninig, VSANs, Zones and zone set (working in large enterprise environment)

• Design, implement, and manage data backup and recovery solutions using Avamar VE or Isilon or SnapshotIQ or Veeam and other relevant technologies.

• Strong hands on experience with cloud storage and data protection (AWS or Azure)

• Monitoring Citrix environment, performance, patching, updates, scalability of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), application delivery and hotfixes

• Very good communication skills and good personality. Do not want people who feel they are smartest in the team

Salary Range

$130,000/year
