Senior Financial Analyst - IFRS reporting - 6 months POST NUMBER: 445888

Job Purpose
To support the finance team in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards. This role will also assist with internal management reporting, statutory audits, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze financial results, highlighting variances and providing insights to management.
• Collaborate with auditors during the statutory audit process, providing required documentation and explanations.
• Assist in the implementation of new IFRS standards and provide technical accounting support to the finance team.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group.
• Ensure integrity of financial data in ERP and reporting systems.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist in resolving reconciling items.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, with strong exposure to IFRS.
• Experience in working with auditors and handling statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
