Director of Finance - 12 Month Contract POST NUMBER: 445551

• Lead and coach a team including 3 direct reports
• Oversee accounting operations including transaction processing, monthly reconciliations, accruals, payment reviews, expense approvals, and oversight of accounts payable/receivable
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for both internal leaders and a corporate parent company
• Manage short-term cash flow forecasting, treasury operations, and working capital performance
• Drive improvements in financial processes, internal controls, and system usage to enhance overall efficiency and compliance
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision-making across business units
• Oversee the use and enhancement of core accounting systems, including managing system upgrades and supporting new technology rollouts
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex matters through research and application of current standards
• Manage external audit activities, liaising closely with internal and third-party auditors
• Serve as the finance point of contact for parent company reporting, close coordination, and analytical discussions

• CPA designation (or equivalent), with a university degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, ideally within manufacturing, technology, or similarly complex industries
• Solid grounding in US GAAP and/or IFRS, and high professional integrity
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems
• Strong understanding of working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• A people-first leader who prioritizes team development and internal service excellence
