Position: Program Coordinator
Pay: $24/hour (negotiable)
**Contract Position - 3 month engagement**
Location: Midtown, Manhattan (Hybrid, 3 days/week in office, 2 days/week remote)
Hours: 9-5, Monday through Friday

Job Description:

The Program Coordinator will be dedicated to liaising with organizational partners to plan and organize programs and activities, with a particular focus on health screening services. They will be a key contact for external partners. The Program Coordinator will work with contracted health screening service providers and community- and faith-based partners to schedule in-community health screenings. There will be multiple health screenings scheduled each day throughout the contracted period. The Program Coordinator will undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. They will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. The Program Coordinator must be comfortable with high-volume scheduling, and able to adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Plan and coordinate program activities.
  • Prepare and maintain records pertaining to program activities.
  • Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, and set priorities for managing the program
  • Manage relationship building, outreach to, and coordination with organizational partners.
  • Purchase or approve the purchase of equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Monitor and approve invoices

Qualifications:

  • • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • At minimum of two years of related experience in events planning and coordination.
  • Knowledge of program management and development procedures
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
