Salary: $20-$23/hr.
Vaco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business-to-Business Collections Specialist to join one of their clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business collections, possessing excellent communication and negotiation skills. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and facilitate the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from business clients, ensuring timely payment and maintaining positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Collections Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of business accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Implement effective collections strategies to reduce delinquency and minimize bad debt risk.
- Analyze customer accounts and payment history to identify and address potential issues.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, understanding their needs and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with sales and account management teams to ensure a unified approach to customer relationships.
- Monitor credit limits and escalate potential credit issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Generate regular reports on the status of accounts receivable, aging reports, and collection performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in credit and collections.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in business-to-business collections, with a strong understanding of credit risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing collections practices.
