Job Title: Interim Sales Compensation Director (2–3 Month Contract)

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based in Arizona)
Work Hours: Must be available to work PST hours
Duration: 2–3 months (Leave of Absence Coverage)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Interim Sales Compensation Director to provide critical coverage to our client during a leave of absence. This role will support and manage global sales compensation programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sales incentive plan design and administration, preferably within a global SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration and execution of global sales compensation plans
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely compensation processing
  • Analyze and interpret sales performance data to ensure incentive plans are driving desired behaviors
  • Provide strategic and tactical support for compensation plan design and modeling
  • Manage and optimize processes within Xactly (preferred) or similar sales compensation platforms
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on compensation effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales compensation, ideally in a global SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of sales incentive plan design and administration
  • Hands-on experience with Xactly or similar sales compensation software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be able to work Pacific Time (PST) hours
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
