• Manage the accounts payable function, including vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements.
• Execute key components of the month end close, ensuring timely reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Maintain and improve accounting workflows, including prepaid amortization, operating expense recognition, and lease accounting.
• Develop and enhance internal controls and scalable accounting processes to support continued growth.
• Collaborate with teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate financial data flow.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, resolving reconciling items promptly.
• Support annual audit, valuation, and tax preparation processes.
• Serve as a backup for billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing when needed.
• Participate in ad hoc projects, including system implementations and process improvements.

• 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within healthcare, technology, or public accounting
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and the full month end close cycle
• Experience with ERP and AP automation tools; familiarity with cloud based accounting platforms is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA eligible preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Comfort working in a high growth, dynamic environment with evolving processes
