Now recruiting on behalf of an Atlanta-based company undergoing transformation as it is growing (organically and through acquisition) and preparing for a future IPO. We are seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting & Transformation to lead global accounting operations while driving the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this Director of Corporate Accounting & Transformation will oversee global accounting (General ledger, month end close, reporting) and serve as the SAP Finance owner—bridging current systems to a future-state S/4HANA environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.)
- Manage global accounting operations, close process, and financial reporting
- Ensure US GAAP compliance, SOX readiness, and IPO preparation
- Drive automation, process improvements, and financial systems optimization
- Partner cross-functionally and lead a high-performing team
The right candidate for this Director of Corporate Accounting & Transformation will have:
- CPA designation
- 9-11 years of accounting experience - including both corporate accounting and public accounting (Big 4 / global firm audit)
- Experience in multi-ERP environments and corporate accounting
- Expertise using and implementing SAP, as well as experience leading finance transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
- Strong leadership experience
- Preference given to those with IPO readiness or public company experience

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
