Our client is hiring a VP, Treasury & Business Planning for a six month contract with permanent potential.
About the Opportunity
- Lead global treasury strategy, including liquidity management, capital allocation, and funding optimization across multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Oversee cash management, short-term investments, intercompany funding structures, and foreign exchange exposure to ensure efficient deployment of capital
- Own and enhance a rolling 13-week cash flow forecasting framework, translating operational drivers into forward-looking liquidity insights
- Manage lender relationships, debt facilities, and covenant compliance, including preparation of borrowing base certificates and lender reporting packages
- Support capital structure decisions, including refinancing initiatives, debt strategy, and evaluation of funding alternatives
- Partner with senior leadership to align treasury strategy with broader business planning, ensuring adequate liquidity to support growth and strategic initiatives
- Drive process improvements across treasury operations, leveraging automation and systems to enhance visibility, controls, and scalability
About You
- 10 years of progressive experience across treasury, corporate finance, or banking, with deep exposure to liquidity management and capital strategy
- Strong technical foundation in cash flow forecasting, debt instruments, financial covenants, and capital markets dynamics
- Proven ability to manage lender relationships and navigate complex financing structures across multiple entities
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with data visualization or analytics tools is an asset
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders
