Job Announcement-Bus Driver

Location: Clermont
FLSA Status: Part time hourly
Salary Range: 13-14.53

Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent must have the competencies, skills, and proven leadership ability to successfully carry out the association’s mission, goals, and visions for serving the community. The Bus Driver will be responsible for the following:

1. Transports children.

2. Follows all YMCA driver regulations.

3. Performs pre-trip vehicle inspections.

4. Oversees children during loading and unloading.

5. Ensures vehicle is clean and reports conditions in need of attention or repair.

6. Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergency procedures.

7. Attends staff meetings and training programs.

8. Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 21 years of age or older.

2. Current state approved first-aid certification.

3. Current state approved community CPR certification.

4. High school education or equivalent preferred.

5. Valid driver's license.

6. At least three years driving experience.

7. Driving record that meets or exceeds YMCA standards.
